KITCHEN SINK COOKIES





INGREDIENTS:
1/4 cup applesauce
2T butter
2T Canola oil
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 egg
2/3 cup whole wheat pastry flour
1/2 cup oats
1/4 cup dries cherries (chopped)
1/4 cup dried apricots (chopped)
1/2 chocolate chips
1/4 chopped almonds (or your favorite nut)
1 t cinnamon
1/2 t vanilla


Cream together butter, oil and applesauce. Add in egg, cinnamon and vanilla, blend until incorporated. Add flour and oats.
Chop nuts and fruit. Combine chocolate, fruit and nuts to cookie mixture.Scoop cookies onto cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
