I hope you don't mind me asking a question also. I had the best vegetable dip a few weeks ago and only got an idea of what was put in it. It was a ranch dip made with yogurt and sour cream. Has anyone ever made this before or know of a recipe that sounds familiar? It sounded like a healthier way to make the ranch dip to eat with vegetables and it was really good.
Thanks

Well, I use these two things when I make my ranch dressing, it can't be that much different. I love it. In fact, I usually do half light mayo wtih half light sour cream and if I don't have one or the other I use half plain yogurt. The yogurt does does something that makes it taste so fresh and not so eggy compared to only using mayo if that makes sense.
I've had a few yummy ranch dips made with non-standard ingredients. I like it with half sour cream and half plain yogurt or half sour cream and half cottage cheese. If you don't mind the lumps, I've made it with just non-fat cottage cheese and a ranch dip packet and it's great!
