Ovens and summer CAN mix!

SO I have found a great way to use my oven this summer wihout heating up my apartment too much.  While the oven is on after it has been preheated I turn the fan on to low.  As soon as it is done baking and I shut it off the fan goes on high and I crack the oven door open.  it sucks the majority of the heat up and out.  about 15-20 minutes later I shut the oven door and turn off the fan.  It has helped TREMENDOUSLY!
