Have any of you wonderfully talented ladies ever made hummus? I'm wanting to make some, but have found tons of really diverse recipes on the internet. Lots of good ideas, but as a complete novice, I'd rather start out with something tried and true. Anyone willing to share?
I hear that whatever you choose, fresh chickpeas (cooked by you) are an amazing difference to those canned varieties. Also, I tend to make an edamame hummus (out of a vegan cookbook) since my hubby doesn't care for chickpeas. It's not all edamame, but it makes a difference to him.
