Lemon and Herb Rice

It is so easy to make rice combinations. I don't even bother with the store bought mixes. Everything you need is right in your kitchen. Here is my Lemon and Herb Rice that I frequently make as a side dish.

Lemon and Herb Rice:
For 4 cups of rice
2 cup of rice
4 cups of water
2 Tablespoons of melted butter
1/4 cup of grated Parmesan, Romano, and Asiago mixed or one by itself
2 Tablespoons of Chicken soup base
1/4 cup of Lemon Juice
1/2-1 Tablespoon of dill weed
1 Tablespoon of Rosemary
2 Tablespoons of dried or 1/4 of an onion minced
1 teaspoon of Garlic Powder or minced garlic
You can also add any additional herbs such as Basil, Parsley, Paprika, and chives.
Salt and Pepper if you really think it needs it.

Mix all ingredients together in pot or rice cooker and cook covered on med-high heat until water is gone.

This rice is a great compliment to my Chicken Oscar, Chicken Gumbo, and Chicken Cordon Bleu recipes.
