Faux crab Cakes

This is a Paula Deen's recipe that i use very often and i thought this would be a good recipe to share, because they are fast to make, inexpensive and my children like it so much. I usually call them "Crabbypatties"(like in SpongeBob), just to make it sound more fun. I also like that they are more nutritious than chicken nuggets. I serve them with vegetable like broccoli for a perfect lunch. Ingredients: Vegetable oil for frying 2 (6 ounce) can tuna fish 1 egg 2 tablespoons diced green onions 1/4 cup mayonnaise 1/2 bread crumbs Lemon juice (optional) Directions heat 1-inch of oil in a largeskillet over medium heat. while oil is heating, combine tuna, beaten egg, green onion, mayonnaise, 1/4 cup bread crumbs and lemon juice, to taste, if desired. Form into patties and remove from oil and drain on paper towels before serving. Makes 4 servings.
