October's National Food Holidays 2013

Photo from Good Housekeeping
This month's featured tablescape is from Good Housekeeping. We chose it for this month's feature because of its unique combination of both spooky and sweet. The overall Halloween presentation starts with a cobweb tablecloth, followed by pedestals of black and white that display the many orange Halloween creations. Finally, the black Halloween accents of spider, skull, and crow add just the right amount of spookiness to complete this presentation of fun, festive food.

October Announcements

It is officially the start of the holiday season here at Saltbox House. We are so excited to celebrate with you as readers and our families. With party planning and testing out new recipes (thanks to your submissions), we will be plenty busy. Watch for this month's giveaways that are brought to you by Scentsy and Amazon as well as our featured bloggers and new authors.

Wishing you all a fun festive Halloween Holiday!
